A cold that I have been fighting off for a few days has counter-attacked with a vengeance. I called in sick already as I have not been able to sleep for the past several hours due to very heavy, and productive coughing. Feeling as I am, and considering the weather tomorrow I decided to take the day off and rest.
It is a good things I have sick time accrued.

- I am a 35 year old American adopted at birth by a Jewish family and raised in a secular Jewish home. Latter in life I chose to become Orthodox. Upon doing so I discovered that I had to convert as my natural parents were not Jewish. I married and have two beautiful daughters. As I lived in my Orthodox community I grew more and more apart from my Orthodoxy. I am now divorced and live by myself in my children's neighborhood. I am currently working at a major camera & electronics store, and paying my child support. I work daily to get some positive direction in my life. Day by day my relationship rebuilding with my children has gone well. They have accepted me back in their life almost as if I never left. Sure, there are some rough times but our relationship grows after each and every one. I have two sweet, and loving children. I have also been working on my relationship with G-d. I have divorced myself from any organized religion and I am seeking out God in my own fashion. I stand at the threshold of my future and do not know where it will lead me. How exciting and scary at the same time!
