Great Day.

Today we went to a new area. We took one walk during the day and one walk latter at night. During the daytime walk I used a blindfold. There were many distractions and Ruffles lost focus many times, but I learned much about how to feel in the harness handle when she is going off course or is not focused.

We did a little better at night. She was very responsive. I still have to work on corrections and bringing her back into focus.

Considering that we have only been working together for a little more than a week, things are going very well. It can take as much as six months to develop a working bond with the dog.
